For those who would like to know so they can slow down in time
, this duo’s website is for you.
Critics say photo-enforcement programs are a money grab by cash-strapped cities. Supporters say they make the roads safer.
Two college-aged entrepreneurs are homing in on traffic cameras as a business opportunity. Matt Stone and Kade Miller started RadarRover.com. The website https://radarrover.com, which went up in October, is an information clearing house that publishes the locations of fixed cameras in a handful of Arizona cities.
Drivers can sign up to receive daily e-mail alerts that publish where mobile van units will be during certain times of the day. The site also includes maps showing where stationary cameras are positioned. Stone and Miller obtain the information from the municipalities, which already publish much of the information on their own sites.
The purpose is to drive safely!
